Job Description

ACHIEVA is an ambitious and dynamic recruitment company, with offices in St. Albans, Hertfordshire and Sulgen, Switzerland. We are a full-service agency that specialises in Recruitment within the Life Science, Health & Safety and Healthcare industries across the UK, Mainland Europe, Asia and Middle East. Working closely with our operational and account teams, you’ll play a vital role in attracting high-quality talent to our organization.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for spearheading the end-to-end recruitment process, driving talent acquisition strategies, and shaping the growth of our business.

The position will be based at our St Albans, Hertfordshire offices and is a full time role based 5 days a week onsite. 

Key activities for the role  

  • Workforce Planning: Collaborate with the organization’s leadership to understand their talent needs and create a comprehensive workforce plan. This involves identifying skill gaps, determining staffing requirements, and developing hiring strategies accordingly.
  • Sourcing and Candidate Outreach: Employ various sourcing strategies to identify potential candidates, such as leveraging job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and conducting targeted searches. Additionally engage in proactive candidate outreach and networking to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Continuous Improvement: Designing, implementing and supporting training programs and performance reviews with senior team members. Monitor compliance for legal and internal policy guidelines and quality standards.
  • Offer Negotiation and Onboarding: Extend job offers, negotiate compensation packages, and facilitate the onboarding process. I coordinate with the Operations team to complete necessary paperwork, conduct background checks, and ensure a smooth transition for the new hire.
  • Employer Branding and Talent Pipeline: Assist in building and promoting the organization’s employer brand by highlighting its unique culture, values, and opportunities. Proactively build relationships with potential candidates, creating a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.

Further critical activities

  • Collaborate with team to organize internal social events, volunteer days and support groups.  
  • Incentive review and announcements to internal teams.
  • Structure internal engagement surveys across our employees and develop focus groups.
  • Establish effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
