As a Junior Engineer you will have the opportunity to work with one of the world leading names in Electrical and Electronic systems on the edge of London.
A salary of between £35,000 to £45,000 is on offer for this role plus big company benefits which include 25 days holiday per year, which rises and bank holidays. The role does involve frequent travel to different sites across Europe & Middle East and hybrid working whilst in the UK. You could be on the road for between 1 to 2 weeks every month visiting the client’s different factories and sales offices.
Modern offices with parking on site and also close to both rail and bus links, making it a great commuting option, alongside frequent European and Middle East travel as well as the opportunity to work from home on a hybrid basis.
This is a true long-term position where a lot of the existing staff have been developing their careers for a number of years.
The start date for this role is January 2024 and would suit someone who has graduated with an Engineering Degree or someone with an Engineering Degree who is in their first job.
The role is a real mix of duties which include lots of practical work when you are on site to analytical work which could be completed remotely.
Your overall mission is to support the factories and sales branches to achieve targets regarding lead-time, cost and quality based on JIT and Kaizen to eliminate waste.
Whilst on site you will be working closely with Engineers improving supply chain process and accelerate communication amongst the factories and sales branches.
Working towards continuous improvement is an important part of this role.
The main purpose of this role:
You will enhance manufacturing engineering capability.
You will improve engineering and supply chain process.
You will eventually progress to leading the Kaizen team and work on the continuous improvement culture.
Collect and analyze data.

We offer parking on a first come-first-serve basis and then offsite parking at the shopping centre car park (opposite the office) at a max daily allowance of £11.00
